A parasol, particularly when used at the beach is positioned by pushing its lower end into the sand or soil. Problems occur when the ground is too hard - the tip cannot be inserted to the sufficient depth, or, when the weather is breezy, the parasol is blown off. The new design of a parasol is fitted with central pole provided with threaded area at its lower end. The pole can easily and safely screwed into the soil.
