PURPOSE: A device for securing safety of a gas range is provided to prevent fire by an overheating of the gas range, and to finish cooking from a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A gas range has a hose to supply gas and a gas valve to supply or stop the gas. A key portion(5) receives an input of a telephone number. An indication portion(8) indicates the number of the key portion(5). A human body sensing portion(7) senses whether there is any person near the gas range. A photographing member(6) photographs an operating state of the gas range(1). A timer(9) counts in real time by a control of a control portion(13). A first memory(10) stores the image information of the photographing member(6). A second memory(11) stores voice message and character information to transmit these to a user by a terminal. The control portion(13) operates each components, and sends the image information, voice message, and character information stored in the memories(10, 11) to the user if there is not a person sensed by the human body sensing portion(7). The control portion(13) operates a solenoid(14) to open/close the gas valve by the response from the user.
