<p>A stabilised curtain rod is made from a hollow metal tube filled with a stabilising compound and with groove set off-axis along one edge of the tube. The groove is filled with a tensile element which is secured at each end, near to the end of the curtain rod. The ends of the curtain rod are hollow to take decorative end fittings. The tensile element can be a threaded rod or a wire and the fittings include tension adjusters.</p> |
