PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a liquid crystal display panel is provided to expose a pad region with one-time photolithography so as to simplify a fabricating process. CONSTITUTION: A TFT substrate includes an active region and a pad region and has a plurality of pixel electrode and thin film transistors is fabricated. A light shielding pattern is formed on the part of the TFT substrate other than the pixel electrodes and the pad region. A photosensitive material is coated on the overall surface of the TFT substrate. A color filter layer is formed on the pixel electrodes. A photosensitive over coat layer(42) is formed on the overall surface of the TFT substrate including the color filter layer. The over coat layer formed on the pad region and the photosensitive material are removed.
