The invention concerns a method for printing a base material, which consists in applying on the base material by screen printing at least an ink film comprising a single-component binder based on polyvinyl, advantageously polyvinylbutyral. The ink further comprises a solvent belonging the family of glycol and glycol ethers, in particular a solvent selected among propyleneglycol methylether, propyleneglycol diacetate, dipropyleneglycol methylether and tripropyleneglycol-n-butylether. The invention also concerns a method for making and decorating an injection-moulded object using said printing method. The invention further concerns a support for fixing a screen printing base material comprising a drying station.
