Electrically conductive filler (I), especially consists of an electrically insulating, amorphous, crystalline or fibrous material with dielectric properties and an intrinsically conductive coating. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of (I) by coating the insulating filler with an aqueous dispersion of intrinsically conductive polymers and/or their monomers with the addition of water-soluble stabilizers, removing all residual monomer by washing with acidified water and then drying to constant weight at elevated temperature.
