To detect and enrich bio-molecules with a homogenous carrier material flow at or through them, at least one immobilizing bio-molecule probe is used. To detect and enrich bio-molecules, The carrier material (3) is charged with a mantle molecule flowing at, through or in batches. The mantle molecule is either bonded non-specifically and directly at the carrier or indirectly at one of the carrier components which is specifically or non-specifically bonded. A suitable cross linking reagent fixes the mantle molecule as a shrouding around the carrier, and at least one bio-molecule probe is bonded specifically or non-specifically at the mantle molecule surface. The carrier material has an average pore diameter of 0.1-300.0 micro m, as a frit of sintered organic or inorganic material, and preferably thermoplastic particles. At least one bio-molecule probe is of molecules, molecule groups or fragments with affinitive characteristics to other substances. The mantle molecule is a protein, preferably beef serum albumin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a process to detect or enrich bio-molecules, which uses underpressure or overpressure to generate a fluid flow in the apparatus of a solution which contains at least one bio-molecule for enrichment. The solution is allowed to dwell for a given duration, for interaction. The specific bonded molecules are washed out by a rinsing solution. Preferred Features: A suitable volume of an affinity bio-molecule is enriched, to form a bio-molecule/affinity/bio-molecule complex, to be treated with a detection reagent. The detection process takes <= 30 mins; and (2) a kit with at least one reagent to detect bio-molecules, and one or more vessels to catch the material or one or more suction units. |
