PURPOSE: A method for compensating the control of air-fuel ratio is provided to uniformly maintain an engine rpm by controlling the air-fuel ratio of mixed gas in warming-up, and to improve the safety of a vehicle by preventing the engine from stopping. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating the control of air-fuel ratio comprises a warming-up step(100) performing a theoretical air-fuel ratio control(15) in idle state(11) and warming-up state(12); a load determining step(200) determining whether a load is generated after the warming-up step(100); and an air-fuel ratio compensating step(300) performing proportional integral control on the basis of a compensated air-fuel ratio when the load is generated.
