A card body (12) joins firmly to a strip (13) applied to it for a signature. The strip forms a self-adhesive label (23). On its reverse side the label has an adhesive layer for permanent adhesion to the card body. The label is made from material to be written on that includes paper. Single labels are produced on a ribbon as a roll and applied to each card from the ribbon by means of a label dispenser. An Independent claim is also included for a method for producing an information carrier in card form like an ID card or an insert card. |
