The device is assembled of a small platform resting on tracks (2) able to turn on the spot and a folding mast (1). The containers for the storage of the hydraulic fluid are accommodated in the space between the tracks (2), creating a perfect position for the center of gravity. When the vehicle has reached the intended working area two hydraulically operated support columns (15) are extended from the platform at the front. The mast (1) is unfolded and the drilling attachment can be easily mounted. The crawler unit (2) can be extended if required.
