PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding transport container which can keep a container body thin when folded and can improve a withstand load of the container body when set up. SOLUTION: A pair of first storage recesses 25 are provided at both sides of a first support protrusion 21a, while a pair of load supports 51 are made to protrude from a lower end of a shorter sidewall 13 located correspondingly to the recesses 25 so that the supports 51 are received in the recesses 25. When a compressive load works from upward to the shorter sidewall 13, a supporting plate 53 of the support 51 has its lower end surface brought into contact with a bottom plate 25a of the recess 25, thereby supporting the compressive load. While the shorter sidewall 13 is folded, the load support 51 is formed with a second storage recess 24 by notching the supporting plate 53. A coupling of a longer sidewall 14 is received inside the recess 24, and a folded container body 11 exhibits a thin flat platelike form. |
