PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for trays in packing an electric refrigerator, by which a plurality of trays 15 can reliably and simply be fixed with one packing member 20 and which reduces the amount of industrial waste by reutilizing the packing member 20. SOLUTION: A main body door 10 is pivotably supported in an openable/ closable manner at a front opening portion of a refrigerating chamber 8 whose front surface is opened. Under the condition that a plurality of trays 15 made of a synthetic resin are set in the refrigerating chamber 8 in a freely drawable manner, one packing member 20 which has recesses 21 at its portions to be pressed by the trays 15 and which is elastically deformed by press is sandwiched between the inside of the main body door 10 and the entire front surface of the trays 15. Thus, the plural trays 15 are pressed by the packing member 20 to be fixed thereto.
