PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a shielding (barrier) characteristic of a container made of polymer and especially effective and useful for a plastic blood sampling tube or a medical usage satisfying certain performance specifications and to maintain a shelf life of the cointainer containing a liquid additive. SOLUTION: This container assembly comprises an inside tube formed of a plastic material substantially inert with a fluid material and an outside tube formed of another plastic material. As an assembly, the container assembly is useful for providing a barrier effective against penetration of gas/water inside the assembly, and especially, the container assembly is valuably used in sampling blood for a prolonged shelf lift in it.
