PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform mounting of a range hood on a wall as per a design by adjusting displacement of a duct hole by an internal mechanism, even if the position of the duct hole to which a range hood is connected is kept displaced from designed position. SOLUTION: A range hood, mounted on a wall with the above of a flying pan and a pan used on a cooking device, such as a gas hot plate, is covered and serves to discharge exhaust gas, containing oil smoke generated from a fly pan and steam, along with the indoor air. A hood body 11, of which the range hood consists comprises a pipe adapter 12 mounted on the surface on the room side of a wall with a position adjusted and having a ventilation opening 12b smaller than a duct hole formed in the wall; a partition plate 14, coupled to the pipe adapter with the surface on the room side of the pipe adapter 12 covered and having a long window 14a larger than the ventilation opening 12b of the pipe adapter 12; and a hook plate 13, formed integrally with the lower end of the partition plate 14 and mounted on the surface on the indoor side of the wall. The mounting position of the hood body 11 is made adjustable, based on the dust hole formed in the wall. |
