PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift operating device for an automatic transmission with a reduced number of parts and man-hour of assembly. SOLUTION: The shift operating device has a path 6a punched in a top cover 6 of a control switch device S, for a shift lever 1 of an automatic transmission. The path 6a has driving positions by an arrangement of at least a P range, an R range, an N range and a D range in the order, and is transversely located on three lines or a second line II, a third line III and a fourth line IV. The P range is in a first path 6b at an end of the path 6a on the second line II, the R range is in a second path 6c on the fourth line off the first path 6b, the N range is in a third path 6d on the second line II off the second path 6c, and the D range is in a fourth path 6e on the second line II. |
