PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera mirror unit for preventing the occurrence of image blurring, as for a camera for continuously photographing a moving image in plural various positions in an mage pickup direction. SOLUTION: As for the camera provided with an image pickup means or picking up the image of an object, a lens for forming the image on the image pickup means, a mirror arranged ahead of the lens so as to change the image pickup direction and a driving means for driving the mirror so as to change the direction of the mirror, the driving means is provided with a coil for generating a magnetic field corresponding to a current, a permanent magnet arranged facing the coil, and a displacement sensor such as a Hall element for detecting the relative displacement between the coil and the permanent magnet. Besides, it is allocable that the driving means is composed of a piezoelectric element.
