PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label affixing device wherein label affixing conditions can be automatically set according the kinds of a tray used for a commercial article, and affixing positions and affixing attitudes of the label can be optionally changed according to the kind of each tray. SOLUTION: The label affixing device, which is stored in a tray to affix a label to a commercial article to be packaged, includes a storage means to store affixing conditions of the label for the kind of each tray, a tray specifying means to specify the kind of the tray in which the article is received, a read means to read out label affixing conditions from the storage means based on the kind of the specified tray, and a control means to control affixing of label to the article based on the label affixing condition which is read out.
