PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a theft preventing device for an on-vehicle electronic apparatus, capable of preventing theft simply by introducing such an arrangement that it is not serviceable if removed without admission of a master unit once the appliances are connected to the master unit through an intra-car bus. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle electronic apparatus is configured so that various appliances 2, 3 and 4 of the apparatus are connected with the master unit 1 and controlled thereby, wherein registration of the connected appliances with the master unit 1 is made immediately when connection is established, and if disconnection of the registered appliance from the master unit is made unless admission for removal from the master unit is given, the appliance will never be actuated even if it is connected with any other master unit.
