PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular footrest structure that can completely absorb collision energy at a vehicle collision, relieve an impact on a leg region of an occupant and prevent an increase in bending angle acting on the ankle by the impact by means of a simple and low-cost means. SOLUTION: The vehicular footrest structure having a footrest on which a leg region of an occupant is placed on the lower portion on a vehicle interior 30 side of a toe board 3 dividing the engine room and interior of a vehicle, has a platelike bracket 2 with one end coupled to the toe board 3 and the other end coupled to a floor 4 of the vehicle interior 30. The bracket 2 has in the middle a brittle portion that allows the bracket to bend into the vehicle interior. The footrest 1 is fixed to that top surface of the bracket which is nearer to the toe board than the brittle portion is.
