<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt retractor capable of stabilizing performance of a pretentioner. SOLUTION: A spool 2 of this seat belt retractor winds up a belt S. A shaft part 2A, a spool gear 2B and a spring energizing shaft 2C are protrudently provided on the spool S. A spool bearing (a ring collar) 30 is externally fitted on the shaft part 2A of the spool 2. The spool bearing 30 is made of a material exhibiting high hardness and high rigidity such as SUS material, SPCC (SPHC) material, or SC material. The spool bearing 30 prevents the spool 2 from directly receiving a load as a bearing.</p> |
