PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water refrigerant heating air conditioner that uses circulation water and a refrigerant, capable of raising heating efficiency by suppressing radiation loss of circulation water in an outdoor unit, enhancing space-saving characteristics by effectively using a space in the outdoor unit and raising hot-water/refrigerant heat exchanger capacity in heating operation, using the circulation water. SOLUTION: The hot-water/refrigerant heating air conditioner 1 of the present invention uses the circulating water and the refrigerant, and comprises an air- refrigerant heat exchanger 16, a fan 30, an indoor side heat exchanger 17, a hot-water/refrigerant heat exchanger 11, refrigerant circulation paths 20, 22 and 23, a compressor 18, a circulation direction switching means 21, circulation path selecting means 28 and 29, pressure reducing means 28 and 29, a circulation water heating means 6, hot water circulation paths 9, 12 and 13, a circulation pump 10, and an expansion tank 5. The hot-water/refrigerant heat exchanger 11 surrounds the expansion tank 5.
