PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing floating zinc dross in a plating bath is provided which contributes to quality improvement of a plated steel sheet by removing the floating zinc dross in the plating bath that is generated in the hot dipping galvanizing process through a hot dipping galvanizing line. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for removing floating zinc dross in a plating bath(3) comprises a frame part(12) that is installed traversing the plating bath(3); a zinc dross removing unit(A) which is installed at the frame part; an aluminum feeder unit(B) which is installed at the frame part; a skimmer unit(C) which is installed at the frame part; and a nitrogen bubbling unit(D) which is installed at the frame part, wherein the frame part further comprises rails(18) on which a rack gear having a certain length is formed, and which are installed at the upper part of the frame(12), and support plates which are installed between the rails(18), the zinc dross removing unit(A) comprises a chain, a vertical moving motor, a body, an aluminum basket, a shovel, a motor mount and a traveling motor, the aluminum feeder unit(B) comprises a chain, a vertical moving motor, a body, an aluminum basket, a motor mount and a traveling motor, the skimmer unit(C) comprises a chain, a vertical moving motor, a body, a skimmer plate, a motor mount and a traveling motor, and the nitrogen bubbling unit(D) comprises a chain, a vertical moving motor, a body, a nitrogen nozzle, a nitrogen hose, a motor mount and a traveling motor.
