PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent thermal recording material which upgrades the light resistance of an image without influencing other properties, even when the addition amount of the material is small. SOLUTION: In the transparent thermal recording material comprising a thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye and a developer which makes the leuco dye thermally develop a color, formed on at least a transparent support, and further, a protecting layer formed on the thermal recording layer, the developer is an organic sulfonic acid compound and an N-1 substituted aniline derivative represented by formula (1) is contained in the recording layer. (In formula (1), R1 is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group (No. of carbon atoms: 4-22) which may be branched; R2-R6 are independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkoxy carbonyl group, an aryloxy carbonyl group, an alkylthio group and an arylthio group, or may be connected to an adjacent site together to form a ring). |
