PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and smoothly open, by one hand, either of a pair of opening/ closing bodies of a foldable cellular phone having the opening/closing bodies. SOLUTION: This foldable cellular phone comprises a hinge mechanism 20 having a casing 21 installed in engagement with one opening/closing body, a cap 22 installed rotatably relative to the casing 21 to close the opening part of the casing 21 and installed in engagement with the other opening/closing body, a torsional coil spring 23 having one end 23a supported on the casing 21 and the other end 23b supported on the cap 22 and energizing the other opening/closing body in opening direction, and a gel synthetic resin 24 filled in the casing 21.
