The catchment material D is laid along the edge-of-eaves side of the sheathing roof board, and the rainwater on the roof tiles is made to flow into a down pipe along the catchment material D and the water guiding material on the edge-of- eaves side of the sheathing roof board. Consequently, the structure of the edge of the eaves and the wing brings about an improvement in the beauty of a jerkinhead roof and enables the elimination of harmful effects, damage to humans and objects, the wetting of the humans and a building, and the like, which are caused by the falling of the rainwater or the snow, etc., by eliminating the falling of the rainwater or the snow, etc., from the edge of eaves.
