PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly fix toner on a recording medium by uniformly heating, pressurizing the toner on the recording medium even without using a belt for fixation in which an elastic layer is provided in belt fixing device to pressurize the flexible belt for fixation provided on the outer peripherals of a heat roller on the recording medium to which the toner is supplied by heating the belt by the heat roller and to fix the toner on the recording medium. SOLUTION: In the belt fixing device to pressurize the flexible belt 10 for fixation provided on the outer peripherals of the heat roller 12 on the recording medium 1 to which the toner t is supplied by heating the belt by the heat roller and to fix the toner o the recoding medium, the heat roller in which the elastic layer 12b with the thickness of >=100μm is provided on the outer peripherals of a cylindrical core bar 12a and the belt for fixation consisting of a resin belt with the thickness of <=70μm are used.
