PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processability and isotropic properties. SOLUTION: This rubber composition comprises a rubber component containing a diene rubber, organic staple fibers having 0.05-50μm average diameter and 10-2,000μm average length and a surfactant having one or more each of hydrophilic groups and hydrophobic groups in the molecule or further a polyolefin. The compounding ratios thereof are 1-40 pts.wt. of the polyolefin when 0.1-100 pts.wt. of the organic staple fibers and 0.1-20 pts.wt. of the surfactant based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component are contained.
