PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for recording/transferring an image in which a good printed matter can be obtained while reducing the installation space and the facility cost. SOLUTION: The apparatus for recording/transferring an image comprises a rotary recording drum 310, means for securing an image receiving sheet 140 superposed with a transfer sheet 240 to the outer circumferential surface of the recording drum 310, a recording head for recording an image onto the image receiving sheet 140 through the transfer sheet 240 based on image data, and means 410 for heating the image receiving sheet 140 secured onto the recording drum 310 after the transfer sheet 240 is stripped while superposing a print sheet 260 on the image receiving sheet 140. |
