PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of preventing a fluctuation in steering auxiliary force in a steering keeping state after steering. SOLUTION: This power steering device is provided with a gear pump 3 having a pair of delivery ports 3a and 3b for respectively supplying hydraulic pressure via delivery side communicating passages 7a and 7b to both pressure chambers 2a and 2b of a hydraulic power cylinder 2 on the basis of a rotational direction signal and a steering force signal of a steering shaft 1 detected by a torque sensor TS, an electric motor M for driving the gear pump 3, an electric motor control means 4 for outputting a driving signal to the electric motor M, and branch passages 10a and 10b for discharging a part of delivery oil delivered from both respective delivery ports 3a and 3b of the gear pump 3 to the outside of both respective pressure chambers 2a and 2b of the hydraulic power cylinder 2 in a degree of not stopping the electric motor M in a steering keeping state after steering of the steering shaft 1. |
