摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of moires in a final image by preventing the occurrence of aliasing noise with a radiation image reader which reads the radiation images accumulated on a stimulable phosphor sheet or the like by a line sensor arrayed with many photoelectric conversion elements to a straight line form. SOLUTION: The refractive indices of first and second selfoc lens arrays and the positional relations of the first and second selfoc lens arrays and a dichroic mirror 14 are so adjusted that the MTF of a beam condensing optical system 18 comprising the first selfoc lens array 15 which collimates stimulated light 25 to parallel luminous fluxes, the dichroic mirror 14 through which the stimulated light collimated to the parallel luminous fluxes by the first selfoc lens array 15 is transmitted and the second selfoc lens array 16 which condenses the parallel luminous fluxes to the line sensor 20 attains <=50% at a Nyquist frequency determined by the width in an X direction of the photoelectric conversion elements 21.
