<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstruction detector for an electric shutter in which a power supply is not interrupted due to the run-down of a battery by installing a light-emitting means making the battery unnecessary on the lower end side of a shutter curtain, an obstruction detecting system is kept constant and safety is improved while cost can be reduced because the exchange of the battery need not be maintained. SOLUTION: The obstruction detector for the electric shutter is constituted in such a manner that a light-emitting machine 10 is mounted on the shutter case 2 side of the electric shutter, a piezoelectric light-emitting means 11 capable of applying light towards the light-emitting machine and a pressure means 12 pressing the piezoelectric light-emitting means by upward movement to the shutter curtain of a seat board 9 are secured on the lower end side of the shutter curtain 3, the piezoelectric light-emitting means is pressed by the pressure means by abutting against an obstruction of the seat board during the falling of the shutter curtain, and the lowering of the shutter curtain is stopped by applying light (a) towards the light-emitting machine by the piezoelectric light- emitting means.</p> |
