<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing polymerization process toners by which high improving density is stably maintained and which do not give rise to fogging or the like, stably yield high-quality images even under the environment of high temperature and high moisture and have durability. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the polymerization process toners consists in polymerizing a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least polymerizable monomers and coloring agents in a medium to form colored polymer particles, then filtering the colored polymer particles out of the medium, adding a cleaning liquid 14 to the filtered colored polymer particles 13 to reslurry the particles, filtering the colored polymer particles again out of the reslurry liquid and drying the refiltered colored polymer particles 17. The reslurry process step successively manufactures the reslurry liquid 15 by supplying and mixing the colored polymer particles 13 by a small amount each into and with the continuously or intermittently flowing cleaning liquid 14.</p> |
