PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize electrostatically changeable quantity of toner and to prevent the loss of a carrier by improving characteristics of a toner supply body to supply toner for development to a toner carrier. SOLUTION: This developing device is provided with at least the toner supply body 3 in which the surface coming into contact with or coming close to the toner carrier 2 is formed of fiber assembly and which supplies the toner 4 on the toner carrier 2 by holding the toner 4 on the surface and in the vicinity of the surface and recovers the toner on the toner carrier 2 simultaneously as supply of the toner or about that time. |
