PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range-finding device accurately performing range-finding even in the case of a dark place or an object having no contrast by accurately irradiating the object with light for range-finding without requiring space or a stage for adjusting a projection means. SOLUTION: This range-finding device is provided with light projecting means (light projecting lens 5a and LED 5b) for projecting the light for range-finding to the object 100 and plural sensor arrays 9a and 9b arranged in a base length direction, is equipped with light receiving means (light receiving lenses 8a and 8b and sensor arrays 9a and 9b) for receiving reflected light from the object 100, and measures a distance to the object based on output from the light receiving means. The light projecting means is provided with a light splitting means (prism 5) for enlarging the projecting range of the light for range-finding in the distance direction of the object and in a direction orthogonal to the base length direction. |
