PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device, in which the generation of noises in the case of opening and closing and the abrasion of slats can be reduced or prevented by simple constitution at a low cost and which can be opened and closed smoothly by small force. SOLUTION: In the shutter device in which an opening section O is opened and closed by lifting and lowering a shutter curtain 8 wound on a winding drum installed to the upper section of the opening section O along a guide rail 9, slides 12 are fixed at both ends of a shaft 4 rotatably supporting the winding drum, the sliders are fitted slidably in the horizontal direction in a sliding rail 11 mounted to the upper section of the opening section O, and an urging means 15 urging the sliders in the direction that the shaft is separated from the upper extension of the guide rail or the direction that the shaft is brought near to the upper extension is secured.
