PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently maintain accuracy of valve timing by correctly computing the ineffective time of an electromagnetic valve. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic valve control device is provided with a means to estimate an ineffective time relating to the operation of an electromagnetic valve based on a predetermined parameter, a means to compute the ineffective time of the cycle of this time in accordance with the estimated ineffective time, a means to compute timing of terminating current-carrying to the electromagnet of the electromagnetic valve in accordance with the computed ineffective time, and a means to stop current-carrying to the electromagnet of the electromagnetic valve. Since a proper ineffective time is computed even if the parameter suddenly changes, by this electromagnetic valve control device, the response of the opening and closing operation of the valve to a command for the valve timing can be excellently maintained. In consideration of not only the estimated ineffective time but also a measured ineffective time measured in a previous cycle, the ineffective time of the cycle of this time can be also computed.
