PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rock bolt mounting method which can positively mount a rock bolt even on soft natural ground without expending efforts. SOLUTION: The method for mounting a rock bolt on the natural ground 53 is comprised of a step of drilling the natural ground 53 by means of a bit 52 arranged at the tip of a rotary rod 51 of a rock drill 5, a step of injecting mortar 56 into a hole 54 formed in the natural ground 53 by the drilling, and a step of inserting the rock bolt into the hole 54 after injection of the mortar 56. In the step of injecting the mortar 56, the mortar 56 is injected into the hole 54 via injecting holes 55a and 55b which extend from the rotary rod 51 to the bit 52.
