PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deep drawing type-packaging machine capable of relatively thickening a wall thickness of a bottom of a notch segment and further reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: As a forming device 10 for forming a notch against a lower film 2 intermittently transported, this device is made to have a structure in which there are provided an upper side box 11 and a lower side box 12, a male die 16 having an outer shape coinciding with an inner shape of a notch 4 is arranged in the upper side box in such a way that it can be ascended or descended, the lower side box can be ascended or descended, and compressed gas can be supplied in the lower side box. At a downstream side of this forming device are installed means for covering an upper film against the lower film; a seal means for sealing predetermined portions of the lower film and the upper film so as to sealingly close the notch; and a cutting means for cutting the predetermined locations of the lower film and the upper film to manufacture each of packaged items, thereby a deep drawing type packaging device is formed.
