PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave incoming direction estimation device capable of estimating the number of incoming waves and the direction of each incoming wave highly accurately with a small calculation load from a signal received by an array antenna composed of plural antennas. SOLUTION: Incoming direction candidates are estimated by a linear prediction method having high direction estimation accuracy and a small calculation load (35), and array antenna output powers of the incoming direction candidates are calculated by Capon method having high power estimation accuracy (36), and the array antenna output power values (37) are applied to an incoming wave number determination discipline (38) to execute incoming wave number estimation (39), and the true incoming direction is estimated from among the incoming direction candidates after incoming wave number estimation (40). Hereby, the incoming wave number and the incoming wave direction can be estimated highly accurately with a fixed small calculation load without requiring eigenvalue decomposition executed in MUSIC, to thereby simplify a signal processing device.
