PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a process cartridge and a main body of image forming apparatus are surely disengaged when a cover is opened and the cover in the opened state is surely locked. SOLUTION: By connecting a cover 19 and a disengaging means 100 by a link 121, when the cover 19 is opened, a photoreceptor drum 23 and a driving shaft (recessed coupling shaft 101) are disengaged and when the cover 19 is closed, they are engaged. Besides, a lock groove 121d is formed on the link 121 and when the cover 19 is opened, by engaging the lock groove 121d and a lever lock projection on the side of the main body of image forming apparatus, the cover 19 is locked while being opened. |
