PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-maintain image I/O unit for printer engine. SOLUTION: The oscillatory side end part of a scanner housing 21 is stopped to the printer housing 11 by means of a first lock member 34 and a second lock member 35. The first lock member 34 and the second lock member 35 are pushed by a push rod 33 supported movably on the printer housing 11 to oscillate thus releasing the scanner housing 21 from the printer housing 11. Since the scanner housing 21 is urged by springs 43 and 44 to open the opening in the upper surface of the printer housing 11, released state is sustained when the scanner housing 21 is released once from the printer housing 11. |
