PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit to cool beer efficiently in accordance with a desired level of cooling capacity, in a beer server equipped with an electronic cooling device employing a Pertier element. SOLUTION: A heat dissipating water tank 17 is provided at the heat dissipating side of the Pertier element 16 and, on the other hand, a cooling water pump 19 for circulating water in the heat dissipating water tank 17 and an air cooling fan 18 for discharging air from the heat dissipating water tank 17 are provided. When beer is poured out all at once upon bottom-up or the like, the cooling water pump 19 is operated to cool the heat dissipating side of the Pertier element 16 by water to obtain a big cooling capacity by a high heat dissipating efficiency. On the other hand, when it is enough to restrain the temperature-rise of the beer, the cooling water pump 19 is stopped whereby water is conducted to flow in reverse to extract water from the heat dissipating water tank 17. Then, the air cooling fan 18 is operated to cool the heat dissipating side of the Pertier element 16 by air.
