PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organopolysiloxane-siliceous material complex having a continuous hydrophobic property, resistance to condensation and thermal resistance and imparting a foaming resistance, antidiscoloration, high dispersibility or the like in compounding into a resin, useful for compounding ingredient of the resin. SOLUTION: This is a complex of the organopolysiloxane having at least a methyl group in the organic group and an amorphous siliceous inorganic material, and the complex has a peak area ratio >=1.0 in a specific range in an infrared absorption spectrum and a decrement area ratio (%) >=70% in a specific range.
