PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily move a belt support member which supports the inside of a pressure belt between the press-contact position where the pressure belt and a heat roll are pressed against each other and a separation position where they are separated from each other with simple constitution. SOLUTION: This fixing device has a couple of turn levers 3 and 4 which are supported turnably by lever support members 1 an 2 supporting belt support members (5 to 22) by being coupled with end part mount members 5 and 6 and arrange adjacently to both the width-directional ends of the pressure belt FP and can turn between the press-contact position where the pressure belt FP is pressed against the heat roll and the separation position where the pressure belt FP is separated from the heat roll and has a lever turn position adjusting member which can move between the press-contacting allowing position where the turn levers 3 and 4 energized by a lever energizing member are allowed to turn to the press-contacting position and the turn restriction position where the turn of the turn levers 3 and 4 from the separation position to the press-contacting position is restricted.
