PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for joining exterior wall materials and its joint metal fixtures capable of rigidly fixing and integrating the joint parts of the exterior wall materials to one another even in the case that there is no exterior wall substrate materials such as furring strips at the joint parts when constructing the four-directional- shiplap-type exterior wall materials by shiplap joints. SOLUTION: In the structure for joining the four-directional-shiplap-type exterior wall materials 2 to one another, a male tongue 2a protruded in the back side is formed in two adjacent circumferential sides of the square exterior wall material 2, and a female tongue 2b to be fitted to the male tongue is formed in the other two circumferential sides. The male tongue engaging piece 1c of the joint metal fixture 1 is engaged with the male tongue 2a of the exterior wall material 2 adjacent to the right and left, and the female tongue engaging piece 1d of the joint metal fixture 1 is engaged with the female tongue 2b of an exterior wall material 2 located above the exterior wall material 2 to joint the exterior wall materials to each other. By this, the joint parts of the exterior wall materials are rigidly fixed to each other and integrated via the joint metal fixture 1.
