CATCHMENT ALTERNATE BASIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catchment alternate basin hardly causing a blockade by sediment and not requiring frequent cleaning. SOLUTION: This catchment alternate basin adaptable to a catchment in let 11 provided in the drain gutter 15 of a structure 10 is provided with a foot plate section 3 and a drain pipe section 2 in a funnel shape. The foot plate section 3 is closely coupled with the inflow port 14 of the basin section 12 of the catchment in let 11, and the drain pipe section 2 is inserted into an outflow port 13 opened on the flat bottom face 12a of the basin section 12. Since the water collected in the drain gutter 15 flows into the foot plate section 3 and is drained through the drain pipe section 2 without passing through the flat bottom face 12a of the catchment in let 11, accumulation of sediment on the flat bottom face 12a of the catchment in let 11 can be prevented. Since the catchment alternate basin 1 itself is formed into the funnel shape and has no flat face, the sediment conveyed onto the foot plate section 3 can be discharged without being accumulated inside.
