PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type compacting device in which mass-production throughput capacity by shortening the material solidifying time is enhanced and vibration absorbing power and device rigidity are improved. SOLUTION: A loading plate 60 vibrating and pressing a compacting material W for the vertical type compacting device is composed of the first loading plate 61 installed in response to a fixed region in a compacting vessel 29 and the second loading plates 62 mounted in response to the whole region in the compacting vessel 20 on the sides excepting the region, and vibrating devices 31 for each vibrating means 30 and 40 are secured to the first loading plate 61 and the second loading plates 62 respectively independently.
