PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odorless woody board for building materials, etc., with a small amount of diffused formaldehyde. SOLUTION: This adhesive for producing the odorless woody board comprises (a) a melamine compound and/or a melamine resin and (b) a lignin or its derivative and is characterized in that the adhesive is an aqueous solution comprising particles of the component (a). The woody board is produced by using the adhesive for producing the odorless woody board.
