PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diffusing an insecticide all over a kitchen. SOLUTION: This method comprises setting a container vessel 10 on the outer wall of a refrigerator 50 and making a suction slot 54 of the refrigerator 50 communicate with an outlet 12 of the container vessel 10. When a cooling fan 58 is rotated, air introduced through a inlet 11 of the container vessel 10 passes through the spaces of resin sheets 13 impregnated with an insecticide and is released from the outlet 12 as air containing the insecticide and is led into the refrigerator 50 through the suction slot 54. The air containing the insecticide arid introduced into the refrigerator 50 is circulated in the refrigerator 50 and then discharged from an exhaust slot 56 and the insecticide is diffused all over the kitchen together with the exhaust air.
