PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fuel tank structure for a surface vehicle capable of exhausting water accumulated in a fuel tank without detaching the tank from a hull, and enhancing fixing workability in mounting of a fuel supply unit. SOLUTION: This fuel tank structure for the surface vehicle is such that a water accumulation part 90 is installed in the bottom of the fuel tank arranged in the ship bottom, a drain hose inserting hole (a drain opening) 54 for the water accumulation part is installed on the top surface of the fuel tank, an insertion opening 113 for a fuel supply unit 33 is installed on the top surface of the fuel tank, and a flange part 110 of a top plate 107 of the fuel supply unit 33 is fixed to the edge part of the insertion opening. A box nut 116 is buried in the edge part of the opening 113 of the fuel tank, a stud bolt 114 is screwed to the box nut 116 and protruded from the top surface of the opening edge part, a flange part 110 of the top plate is pressed with a presser member 112 and held, the presser member 112 is mounted on the stud bolt 114, and fastened and fixed with a presser nut 115.
